Winchester Topix/Craigslist replacement » Can people have church anywhere?
Truly saved people do not need mens, approvable God has them forgiven and that is good enough for them. John 3:15-17 is for any person and they do not have to even go to church to receive this Gift from a Holy God. From Rev. Elder, state Pastor, Simon Kidd of Kidd Family Ministry, 463 east High st. Owingsville Ky 859-274-2617 Having Church anywhere, even at Home? To have church anywhere as Matthew 18:20 says we can, takes the devil out of the gathering; it's not some man made dog and pointy show. False clergy can’t top what the bible calls church, The Universal Church derives its definition from the baptizing ministry of the Holy Spirit. The key verse on this is 1 Cor. 12:13, "by one Spirit we are all baptized into one body." We see from this passage that the church is like the physical manifestation of Christ, i.e., his body. Other passages which use the same imagery are Rom. 12:4-5; 1 Cor. 12:11, 18, 27. The point in all of these passages seems to be that anyone who has experienced this baptism is automatically a member of the body of Christ. In the Bible the word “church” does not mean a building. There is nothing the slightest bit holy about a building. Christians are the church, the assembly. Jesus said wherever two or more are gathered in His name, or His authority, He will be there also, Matthew 18:20. Sometimes to get back to God and what He has for you one needs to just stay home on sunday, and read the bible for one’s self, it would be more honorable, to stand that way before God than it would be to have what slick calls church. The one thing that slick will not stand for is what the bible calls church, such as you having a complete understanding of what church is in the scripture, The word translated "church" in the English Bible is ekklesia. This word is the Greek word kaleo (to call), with the prefix ek (out). Thus, the word means "the called out ones." However, the English word "church" does not come from ekklesia but from the word kuriakon, which means "dedicated to the Lord." This word was commonly used to refer to a holy place or temple. By the time of Jerome's translation of the New Testament from Greek to Latin, it was customary to use a derivative of kuriakon to translate ekklesia. Therefore, the word church is a poor translation of the word ekklesia since it implies a sacred building, or temple. A more accurate translation would be "assembly" because the term ekklesia was used to refer to a group of people who had been called out to a meeting. It was also used as a synonym for the word synagogue, which also means to "come together, " i.e. a gathering. "Body of Christ" Since believers have been united with Christ through spiritual baptism, they are sometimes corporately referred to as the body of Christ. (Rom. 12:4-5; 1 Cor. 12:11, 13, 18, 27; Col. 1:18; Eph. 5:30) The idea seems to be that the group of Christians in the world constitute the physical representation of Christ on earth. It is also a metaphor which demonstrates the interdependence of members in the church, while at the same time demonstrating their diversity from one another. (Rom. 12:4; 1 Cor. 12:14-17) The saved person is called Bride of Christ or Christ's Betrothed no where in this is a saved person told to follow after a slick pastor. (Eph. 5:25-32; 2 Cor. 11:2). These titles refer to the love and loyalty existing between Christ and believers. Just read about the church as the bible says, Col. 1:18 the church throughout the world Acts 9:31 the church throughout a region 1 Cor. 1:2 the church in a city (compare 14:34) Rom. 16:5, 10, 11, 14 several house churches within one city Col. 1:18 Acts 9:31 1 Cor. 1:2 Rom. 16:5, 10, 11, 14 When that New birth is real. John 3:3; 1 Peter 1:23; 1 John 3:9 forgiveness makes us new. Regeneration has taken place. Titus 3:5 is the work of God in the world God shows the person He has given them. Sanctification, if this has not happened to you God has not forgiven you, and you are just playing church, because of something inside of you. When we Repent, and God forgives, we don’t have to guess if He has forgiven, This Is what God does so the human can know they are forgiven for the sins they have done.--- Rom. 5:2; 1 Cor. 1:30; 1 Thess. 4:3; Heb. 13:12 Holiness He requires of all saved people.. The saved person still has to repent, when they fall into any sin, and will want to, once God forgives. This Is what humans can do and live after they are forgiven. Luke 1:75; 1 Thess. 4:7; Heb. 12:14 Baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to cleansing; the endowment of power for service. Matt. 3:11; Luke 24:49, 53; Acts 1:4-8 this is when we have received that Sanctification. And the Person who God saved will seek Water baptism. Matt. 28:19; Mark 1:9, 10; John 3:22, 23; Acts 8:36, 38 but so will a false repenter, to be in front of people make the devil come alive, in sins. Can you/??? Speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance as the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. John 15:26; Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:1-7 this is in other tongues, not some noise Do you have them? //???? Spiritual gifts. 1 Cor. 12:1, 7, 10, 28, 31; 1 Cor. 14:1 they will begin to show up in our life. Signs following believers no one can hide them. Mark 16:17-20; Rom. 15:18, 19; Heb. 2:4 If He is there the Fruit of the Spirit will show. Rom. 6:22; Gal. 5:22, 23; Eph. 5:9; Phil. 1:11, If the spirit is there it will show. When New birth. John 3:3; 1 Peter 1:23; 1 John 3:9. Is for real there was Sanctification subsequent to justification. Romans 5:2; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Hebrews 13:12. Holiness can and will be followed. Luke 1:75; 1 Thessalonians 4:7; Hebrews 12:14. No one can live a life of Holiness without the Holy Ghost, and to receive Him one has to Have God’s forgiveness, and that Gift of what so many misunderstand as Baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to cleansing; the given of power for service. Matthew 3:11; Luke 24:49, 53; Acts 1:4-8. The speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance or as He needs someone to do so, and as the initial evidence of the baptism in the Holy Ghost. John 15:26; Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:1-7., if one is saved one will be shown as to it as the truth. What Does’ HE” the Holy Ghost the Holy Spirit do in the human time as saved people of God in the human world? Jesus is the savior. God is the Father. The Holy Ghost is He the power and sources of power to the humans, He is the Teacher of all things. without Him there will be no fruit of Him in the human walk. Pastors, Churches, or any human can replace the Holy Ghost. Do you understand He is the real deal, men can’t fake having Him. What He does in the lives of those who have Him? . He leads and directs is He doing this for you or are you doing it for yourself . (Matthew 4:1; Mark 1:12; Luke 2:27; 4:1; Acts 8:29; Romans 8:14) Is He really there for you??? The Holy Spirit speaks – in, to and through. (Matthew 10:20; Acts 1:16; 2:4; 13:2; 28:25; Hebrews 3:7) Is the devil on your back??? He gives power to cast out devils. (Matthew 3:11; Mark 1:8; Luke 1:15, 41, 67; 3:16, 4:1; John 1:33; Acts 1:4-5; 2:4; 4:8, 31; 6:3, 5; 7:55; 10:47; 11:24; 13:9, 52; 1 Corinthians 12:12) This is where humans know for a fact He has given . a new birth, a new beginning, . I don't believe that I know him, but there are many people with the last name Day in Knott County, Kentucky, which is in the Southeastern part of the state. Do you think that the man whom you are looking for may be related to them? I only know one person with the last name Day who is currently living in this area. He is in his 20s. He is also originally from Knott County. I knew a woman with that name as well, but she moved back to Knott County where she came from too after she broke up with a man whom she was dating from here in Winchester. I hope that you find out what you need to know though.

Long shot, but have been looking for years and felt this might help. Looking for family who may not know we exist. We know there is a man who lived/lives in Winchester, from what I know his last name is Day, however this could potentially be wrong. We do know for a fact he worked for the post office, in lexington I think, in the early 70s. He is most likely older than 70, however I don't know anything more. If this sounds like anyone you know, even if you don't think that person could have another family please reach out!

I drove all the way to Atlanta, Georgia to eat before. My wife and I just went back down there again back in July to check out another new restaurant. That was the third time that we went down there just to eat. We went to Asheville, North, Carolina in April to try out a restaurant that we hadn't been to before. We also go to other cities and other states to try other things that don't involve food, too, such as hiking trails, theme parks, and craft beer. We went to Alabama just last month to check out several attractions that we hadn't seen before. We love Lexington and we explore and try out new things here all the time, but unlike some people, we also love to get off our rear ends and live when we aren't working. Believe it or not, but some people who live in Lexington really do wander outside of the city and sometimes they even go outside of the state. Dang! How crazy is that?

Winchester Topix/Craigslist replacement » Revival?
“Revival” This world does need it. It is more clear than ever that we have a desperate need for God to move in a mighty way in our world, our nation, our communities, our churches, our families, and in our own hearts. The saved person must understand that it is each one of us, who is in need of revival. From The Elder: Old Church of God of the New Covenant - 1Cor. 1:2- Gal. 1:13- Eph. 2:15-21- Heb. 8:1-13- Jer. 3:15-16- Rom. 10:14-16- Jer. 31:31. Before we can have Revival we must have a cleaning of God house first just like Jesus did in the temple as we read about in Mark 11:15-19-* Matt. 21:12-17 and this is saying that every church board needs to take a look at its pastor, and if that person is not teaching God’s word, or doing what God says they are to do they should be let go. And replaced, there should be no place for slick the preacher in any church, churches should take away the money so they will go somewhere else, when this happens we will see revival again. We have to walk away from doing anything that is not in the scriptures. We need to stop taking communion in an unworthy manner. We need pastors who will follow the rules that God gave for the clergy. Such as having only one living mate. Keeping their eyes off the women in their church congregation. When we hear them talking about hollywood we need to point out to them that hollywood is not saying they are a church, we are. Clergy abuse has to go. It will all begin when we take the communion like God told us to. In the great awakening that is where it began. There can be another Great Awakening, as it is a religious revival that impacted the English colonies in America during the 1730s and 1740s. So what is Examine Yourself Before Taking Communion do not let slick the pastor cut you off from God, through taking the communion we all should stop and let what God tells us in the bible be good enough for us* The Bible tells us that we need to take a good, long look at what is going on in our hearts when we partake in the Lord’s Supper. “Let a person examine himself, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup, ” Paul told the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 11:28). **We must not ever let that happen to us. We must stay mentally engaged when we partake of these elements. They have been ordained to soberly remind us of the high cost of God’s forgiveness (1 Peter 1:18–19). Eating and drinking them vividly depicts our union and solidarity with Christ as our Savior, Lord and Source of spiritual life (1 Corinthians 10:16). So in this we are always teaching that each one of us has to beware of slick the preacher who is out to be your God and will cut you off from God through the Communion. Communion is much more than just eating a piece of bread and taking a sip of wine and we say wine. It is this in the bible no matter what slick tells someone. The scriptures are telling us about the Jesus who is the Christmas Jesus, that Easter Jesus, the Sunday Jesus, the Only way to God Jesus as John 3:16 tells us all. The Communion is to us for this reason. And purposes. Remember Christ our Savior dying on the cross for the sin of humankind His as the Redeemer, and it is already done, so anyone can have church anywhere as Matt. 18:20 tells us we can, and that this Jesus is the savior and through Him only can a human leave this world saved. Proclaim his death, Because His blood pays what the clergy cannot pay for. Give thanks because He is the Lord and only way. Examine our hearts because salvation will be completed at the end of our human time here on earth. Commune with God and fellow believers, because He says so. Acknowledge our covenant with him, because we are all as humankind already under the New Covenant. Anticipate his return because He is good for His word and will return for those who seek Him as the way out. Anyone can read this and have an action in their life to do just what God tells us to do in the scriptures. What happened at the Last Passover Supper? We are saying the last one because the scripture says the last one, and it is where Jesus gave us the communion and the washing of the Saints feet. WHAT kind of strange teaching is this? Jesus washed the disciple’s feet, celebrated the last Passover and gave new meaning to the meal with a New Covenant Ordinance we all know as the, communion and the washing of feet. When anyone sees people who will not wash feet it is because they are not Christian and no matter what the mouth is saying they do not believe God or you. The first communion was in Jerusalem during Passover, the night before Jesus’ death over 2, 000 years ago. It was the person who is the savior and our redeemer and our Lord who gave this to the saved people, men do not get to change it into something they want it to be. Jesus and his disciples attended the last Passover dinner and did keep it just as God told the people to keep it, so Jesus did eat meat as God told them at the Passover a roasted Lamb’s flesh, so He was not a vegetarian as some slick preachers like to tell people. During the meal Jesus excused Judas to betray him. Jesus and the disciples were in a large upper room in Jerusalem — possibly the same room where Jesus appeared to the disciples after his death and where the Holy Spirit came to the disciples on Pentecost. We don’t know who the owner was, but when Jesus sent Peter and John to prepare the room he was expecting them. Passover is the annual celebration of the Israelites’ departure from Egypt. The Bible tells us that they were reclining at the table, so they were most likely seated on the floor. We know unleavened bread and wine were on the table, but the Bible here does not mention what other food was present but we do know what they were told in the scriptures to do at Passover, and Jesus did His Fathers will always. We don’t know if lamb was on the table as Jesus was the perfect lamb on this special Passover! Swipe to see the parallels of the Passover lamb and Christ. Ancient Passover rituals include drinking four cups of wine. Each cup has meaning: Cup of sanctification Cup of plagues Cup of redemption Cup of praise or blessing Jesus emphasized the third cup during his Passover meal with the disciples as he declared the New Covenant. This is the cup of redemption. He was referring to this cup as he prayed in the garden “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will” (Matt 26:39). Jesus told the disciples, “I tell you I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it again with you in my Father’s kingdom.” This is the fourth cup! The cup of praise and blessing that he will one day share with us in Heaven at the Supper of the Lamb! Isn’t that remarkable? This Jesus will Rapture out His people, as the bible tells us He will, Jesus Christ will call all believers to Himself in what is called the Rapture. Paul the great apostle foretells this in 1 Corinthians 4:51–55 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18. Jesus first gave indication of this great event in John 14:1–3, and later gave the promise to us through John in Revelation 3:10. But a revival is not what the rapture is. What a beautiful experience we are able to share on this side of the cross! You don’t have to look far to see the depths of how far we as a world, a nation, and a people have fallen from God. Holiness of life and true revival can not be separated. A so-called “revival” that does not produce holiness is not a work of the Holy Spirit. Here we may offer an important reminder that true revival cannot be manufactured by men. The sign that says “revival next week” doesn’t really communicate what true revival is for true revival is God-sent and according to His plans and purposes, not ours. Here are some Bible verses about revival for you to meditate on as you are seeking God for personal revival and revival in the church and our nation. Revival is not some meeting you attend or something that happens because of a great man or woman of God. The real meaning of revival in the Bible is when God’s people realize their need to be spiritually restored and revitalized in their walk with Jesus. It starts at home and then spreads to our churches, communities, cities, and our nation. That is the true revival meaning biblically. It is not us putting on a show. Revival brings back the need for the great delight in God's holiness. Believers begin to develop a taste and relish for the sweetness of God's holiness and an equal distaste for and hatred of sin, which becomes increasingly bitter to them. As the Holy Spirit dwells in them, they find that God leads them to love His holiness, and they long to be like Him. We will never build a strong church, people, without revival, because that is what revival is for, and unless it is Bible-centered. Only as we respect and seek to obey the written Word of God will the church people be revived. We must repeatedly renounce our own human opinions, and gladly accept God’s instructions as given in the Bible. Jesus accepted the Bible as authoritative. He spoke of: the creation of Adam and Eve (Matthew 19:4) the Flood in Noah’s time (Luke 17:27) the miracles performed by Elijah (Luke 4:25) the big fish that swallowed Jonah (Matthew 12:40) the life of David (Mark 2:25) the glory of Solomon (Matthew 6:29) the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah (Luke 17:28-30) In the Church. Many churches are worldly, formal and lacking in spiritual power and vitality. Only revival can alter this state of affairs. 3. In our own lives. How powerless we are! How frequently we fail, our testimony seems ineffective, and how little we pray! Revival is our personal need. Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Matthew 4:4 The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. Psalm 19:7 Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Romans 15:4 The word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to divide soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 Great peace has they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble. Psalm 119:165 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 The man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does. James 1:25 Because Christ himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. Hebrews 2:18 God will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. Psalm 72:12 You, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to you; you are the helper of the fatherless. Psalm 10:14 Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. Isaiah 59:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. Psalm 28:7 Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Psalm 68:19 It is the Sovereign LORD who helps me. Who is he that will condemn me? They will all wear out like a garment; the moths will eat them up. Isaiah 50:9 We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. Psalm 33:20 There will never be any revival until we are willing to admit our desperate need for it. The clergy has to be cleaned up, when we have preachers who will do anything and justify it we can’t have revival with the repentance beginning with the clergy. Slick the preacher has to go, God has no such thing as a clergy who has more than one living mate. Mat 5:28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has Pro 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. 1 John 2:16, 17 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh, the desires Exo 20:17 You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. Spiritual revival includes a renewed love for God and things of God, appreciating the holiness of the Lord, a conviction of any personal sin or corporate sin and a desire to repent and grow in righteousness, spiritual humility and a renewed passion and desire for the word of God and his church. The clergy has to be this or they are not what God calls the clergy. All those who are called by God to preach and teach are to preach Jesus as the lord not themselves as the boss, or police over someone's salvation. 1 John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. John 10:11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the Eph 5:11 Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that Ecc 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: Because THE CALL OF GOD on the clergy, it is up to us, and the people to seek revival, and to do this job. It is not the only reason we should seek revival, we should be the first to return to whatever God calls for. If God says it it should be good enough for us. The saved people are to HUNGER FOR THE WORD OF GOD. In Nehemiah 8:1 the people told Ezra “to bring the Book.” Daily we can face a myriad of news stories, headlines, social media posts, phone calls, texts, etc. We can listen to and read many opinions from others. First and foremost, I need the Bible. Lord, give us a hunger for Your Word and to hear You first and foremost. Prayer will help us PAY ATTENTION TO THE WORD OF GOD. Nehemiah 8:3 records the people were “attentive” to the Book. From early morning until mid-day, they are listening to the Word of God. Standing the whole time too. It sounds elementary, but I need to actually pay attention to the teaching of the Word. Lord, help me to pay attention to Your Word. The following of God’s creed of Doctrines does show us how to CELEBRATE THE GREATNESS OF THE GOD OF THE WORD. Nehemiah 8:6 tells us that Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. The Word of God is about God. Forgive me for stating the obvious, but I can read the Bible like it is a book of counsel and guidance – and it is – however, I must remember the Bible testifies to the Greatness, Goodness, Graciousness of our God. Nehemiah, Ezra, and the others lived under a regime that was all about other gods (false and fake). Yet, I know the One True God reigns and is worthy of praise. Because of the Lord Jesus, I have a relationship with God. Lord, praise You for Your Greatness! When we follow what the scriptures say we are a light, and do HELP OTHERS UNDERSTAND THE WORD OF GOD. Nehemiah 8:8 records that they helped others understand the reading. I am thankful we can help others. Praise the Lord for the calling to preach the Word. Personal revival ought to lead to public impact. Thank you to those who lead and teach in churches, lead and host small groups, Vacation Bible Schools… Lord, give me a heart to help others understand Your Word. God calls for us to ADJUST our LIFE TO THE WORD OF GOD. In the second of half of Nehemiah 8, the people seek to adjust and do what they read about in the Scriptures. Lord, give me the wisdom and strength to adjust, repent, and submit to Your Word. Lord, thank You for Your Word. God wants us all to leave this world like this, and it is what He offers to all humans. The saved person will seek God for these things in this life before their life ends. Psa 51:2, 7 Wash me clean of my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. / Purify me Psalm 65:3 When iniquities prevail against me, You atone for our transgressions. Pro 28:9 Whoever turns his ear away from hearing the law, even his prayer is Pro 29:27 An unjust man is detestable to the righteous, and one whose way is out of God’s will. Revival is extraordinary in one sense, but in another, it is simply an emphasis on matters that should be present in the everyday life of the Believer. One thing that happens in true revival is the Holy Spirit pressing upon our minds and hearts a real urgency for God and eternal things. It is not about bringing in those who will give money so the income of the pastor can be safe. In 2 Chronicles 7:14 God lays out what we need to do as His people; it is not the world that needs to return, it is us. If my people, who are called by my name (God is talking to Christians, His people, not lost people) will humble themselves (bow down to God in humility and acknowledge that He is Lord) and pray (pray regularly & reverently) seek my face (hungrily seek God and His presence and His word & voice) and turn from their wicked ways (Repent! Turn from all sins, living for yourself, unforgiveness…) then I will hear from heaven (then our relationship & fellowship with God will be right again) and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land (God will pour out His spirit and will bring Spiritual Awakening and many will be saved) Revival Scriptures About Revival Because it is Reformation In true revival, sin is hated, and not just other people’s sins. Wrongs are righted (as well as they can be) even from years ago. Sin is seen for what it is — wretched and vile — and the people of God seek to confess it to Him as He makes them aware of it. When necessary, it is confessed to others in both private and public settings. Ezra 9:9 Psalm 80:18 Psalm 85:6 Psalm 119:25 Psalm 119:50 Psalm 119:149 Isaiah 1:27 Isaiah 57:15 Ezekiel 29:21 Isaiah 43:20 Acts 3:19-20 Looking at revival in the scriptures to receive an understanding! When will we know we need it? when we do not love Him as we once did. when earthly interests and occupations are more important to us than eternal ones when we would rather watch TV and read secular books and magazines than read the Bible and pray. when church dinners are better attended than prayer meetings. when concerts draw bigger crowds than prayer meetings. when we have little or no desire for prayer. when we would rather make money than give money. when we put people into leadership positions in our churches who do not meet scriptural qualifications. when our Christianity is joyless and passionless. when we know the truth in our heads that we are not practicing in our lives. when we make little effort to witness the loss. when we have time for sports, recreation, and entertainment, but not for Bible study and prayer. when we do not tremble at the Word of God. when preaching lacks conviction, confrontation, and divine fire and anointing. when we seldom think thoughts of eternity. when God's people are more concerned about their jobs and their careers than about the Kingdom of Christ and the salvation of the lost. when God's people get together with other believers and the conversation is primarily about the news, weather, and sports, rather than the Lord. when church services are predictable and "business as usual." when believers can be at odds with each other and not feel compelled to pursue reconciliation. when Christian husbands and wives are not praying together. when our marriages are co-existing rather than full of the love of Christ. when our children are growing up to adopt worldly values, secular philosophies, and ungodly lifestyles. when we are more concerned about our children's education and their athletic activities than about the condition of their souls. when sin in the church is pushed under the carpet. when known sin is not dealt with through the biblical process of discipline and restoration. when we tolerate "little" sins of gossip, a critical spirit, and lack of love. when we will watch things on television and movies that are not holy. when our singing is half-hearted and our worship lifeless. when our prayers are empty words designed to impress others. when our prayers lack fervency. when our hearts are cold and our eyes are dry. when we aren't seeing regular evidence of the supernatural power of God. when we have ceased to weep and mourn and grieve over our own sin and the sin of others. when we are content to live with explainable, ordinary Christianity and church services. when we are bored with worship. when people have to be entertained to be drawn to church. when our music and dress become patterned after the world. when we start fitting into and adapting to the world, rather than calling the world to adapt to God's standards of holiness. when we don’t long for the company and fellowship of God's people. when people have to be begged to give and to serve in the church. when our giving is measured and calculated, rather than extravagant and sacrificial.... when we aren't seeing lost people drawn to Jesus on a regular basis. when we aren't exercising faith and believing God for the impossible. when we are more concerned about what others think about us than what God thinks about us. when we are unmoved by the fact that 2.5 billion people in this world have never heard the name of Jesus. when we are unmoved by the thought of neighbors, business associates, and acquaintances who are lost and without Christ. when the lost world around us doesn't know or care that we exist. when we are making little or no difference in the secular world around us. when the fire has gone out in our hearts, our marriages, and the church. when we are blind to the extent of our need and don't think we need revival. "What does true revival look like? " (Isaiah 6:1-8) 1. Our Need for a Fresh Touch from God (vs. 1a) 2. God as He really is (vs. 1b - 4) 3. Our sinfulness and need for cleansing (vs. 5) 4. God's Gracious Provision (vs. 6-7) 5. The Mission (vs. 8a) 6. We Respond with Joyful Obedience (vs. 8b) God has a plan for the life of every individual believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. Not only does His call involve a wonderful purpose for us throughout eternity, but we also have an expression of that call upon the earth now. So Revival strengthens and deepens the faith of a Christian and also opens his or her eyes to God’s truth in a fresh and new way. It generally marks a new beginning of a life of obedience to God. One of the things revival does in the life of a believer is that it breaks the power of the world which holds the believer back from loving God. Spiritual revival gives a believer the strength to live in the world without an unholy love and desire for the things of the world. "Who has saved us, and CALLED us with a holy calling....according to his own purpose and grace..." (2 Tim 1:9) Spiritual revival is heralded by a return to fervent prayer and worship. The Spirit illuminates Scripture and lives refocus on faith-filled obedience to what God says. If repentance is necessary there is no condemnation, just happily redirected minds and behavior. Love for one another flows more freely, deeply and practically. Lives filled with the Holy Spirit ooze faith and miracle-working power, which radiates to transform unreached individuals by the thousand. Eventually entire communities turn from darkness to light. The Word of God is all we need to return anyone to God. The Word of God draws us to Him 1 Peter 1:23 23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. 1Thessalonians 2:13 13 And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe. The Word of God is a sword wielded by the Holy Spirit, penetrating the hearts of men Ephesians 6:17 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Hebrews 4:12 12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to divide soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. The Word of God is like a hammer Jeremiah 23:29 29 "Is not my word like fire, " declares the LORD, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces? The Word of God is our spiritual food Matthew 4:4 4 Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" The Word of God equips us for every good work 2 Timothy 3:16-17 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. God's Word is not chained. It is always working 2 Timothy 2:8-9 8 Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, 9 for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God's word is not chained. "Now if we are children, then we are heirs - heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ...And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE" (Rom 8:17, 28). See also verses 29, 30. WHY DOES HE CALL US? Because The World Is In Darkness "We know that we ourselves are children of God, and we also know that the world around us is under the power of the evil one" (1 John 5:19 Phillips). See also Ephesians 6:12 and Colossians 1:13 Because People Are Hungry And In Need "When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd" (Matt 9:36). To Prove His Wisdom "His intent was that now, through the Church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in heavenly realms, according to the eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Eph 3:10, 11).Because The Time Is Short "Do you not say, 'Four months more and then the harvest'? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for the harvest! " (John 4:35). See also John 9:4 . WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE ARE CALLED? We Are Made By Him ”Come, follow me, ' Jesus said, 'and I WILL MAKE YOU fishers of men' " (Matt 4:19). See also Jeremiah 18:1-10. We Are Taught By Him "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you" (John 14:26). See also 1 Corinthians 2:12; 1 John 2:27 We Are Sent By Him "As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world" (John 17:18). See also Mark 16:15. When God calls, He comes and interrupts our lives. Some examples of this in the Scripture are: Moses (a shepherd in the desert): "Go, set my people free" (Exodus 3:1-12) Samuel (a boy serving in the temple): "Wake up, speak for me" (1 Sam 3:1-19). Ezekiel (a captive in a foreign land): "Stand up, I am sending you" (Eze 2:1-7). Disciples (businessmen, fishermen): "Come, follow me" (Luke 5:27, 28; Matt 4:18- 22). Saul (an enemy of the Church): "Go, I will tell you what you must do" (Acts 9:1-9). Our appeal should be focused upon God, our God, the Judge, the King, our Father, and our relationship to Him. Revival will return us all to what God tells us we should be. 1. We are not to be conformed to the world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. 2. We are not to curse others, but to bless them. 3. We are not to hate our enemies, but to love them. 4. We are not to be drunk with wine, but to be filled with the Spirit. 5. We are not only to put off the old man, but to put on the new man. 6. We are not to fear, but to put our trust in God. 7. We are not to be anxious, but to pray about everything. Nehemiah 4:2 "And he spoke before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, '' What are these feeble Jews? Will they fortify themselves? Will they sacrifice? Will they end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned? " Psalm 85:6 "Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? Isaiah 55:3 "Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. Ezekiel 16:6 "And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live." Ezekiel 37:3 "And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, ``O Lord GOD, thou knowest." Ezekiel 37:9 "Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live." Romans 6:11 "Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord." Matthew 4:4 "But he answered and said, For It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Romans 8:13 "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live." Romans 1:17 "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith." II Corinthians 13:4 "For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you." Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." II Timothy 2:11 "It is a faithful saying: For if we are dead with him, we shall also live with him." James 4:15 "For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that." How can this happen in a world gone so mad with the troubles we all have had the last few years? When the storms of life come, we are all tempted to fear. Fear is one of the greatest tools of the devil to destroy both the unbeliever and the Believer. We need to return to what God is to us! 1. The Fatherhood of God (our sonship) (Luke 11:1-13). 2. The Unity (oneness) of God (based upon our unity) (Matthew 18:19). 3. The Delight of God (our delight in Him) (Psalm 37:4). 4. The Goodness of God (our faith in) (James 1:17). Until next time the Elder. We need Revival, Pray for it, seek to have it, now is the time for it.

You talkin’ to me? From the Elders wife: Old church of God of the new covenant 1 cor. 1:2- Gal. 1:13- Jer. 31:31-Heb. 8:1-13- Eph. 2:15-21. Out of our mouths come the words that can defile us. The book of James is inspired to help us be aware of the danger of our wagging tongues. Read the third chapter of James verses 1-18. The Christian will seek to honor our father and the practice of Phillipians 4:8-9. We bad mouth, besmirch, put down, slander, tarnish, belittle, and dishonor others with our tongue. Most of our world’s problems are due to bad media, and our judgments against others. All of this exists because we have a need to control anyone but ourselves. However, the condition stems from human greed, lust, and selfishness. The next time you open your mouth, let every word be positive and uplifting. Behave as if you are speaking to the Lord himself because he is the silent listener to each and every conversation. Matthew 12: 36-37.

So you want to know? Thank you for your Calls and emails. From the Elder: Old Church of God of the New Covenant, the church people one can read about in the scriptures, 1 Cor. 1:2- Gal. 1:13- Eph. 2:15-21- Heb. 8:1-13- Jer. 3:15-16 Jer. 31:31- Acts 20:28- Rom. 10:14-16. John 3:3-7 - John 3:16- Matt. 18:20 1 Cor. 10:32- this church people will Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth Obedience bringing the reward of earthly greatness and wealth of what one has need of as a flash and blood human, even if one does not have great understanding, the church is people that are taught to be content with food and raiment, and to expect persecution and hatred; it is perceived that just as distinctly as Israel stands connected with temporal and earthly things, so distinctly does the New Covenant church people stand connected with spiritual and heavenly things as well as the things needed in this life. Beware of men who want your things in the name of God or Christ! Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling (Heb. 3: 1). For our conversation is in heaven (Phil. 3:20). Men are out to take not give. The all Christian all New Covenant is to be without pay for the clergy, and money is to begin at home first as we always tell people when we take up and offering 1 Timothy 5:5-8 tells us this. And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head (Matt. 8:20). To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you (1 Pet. 1:4) that person who John 3:16 and has no other way to Heaven. Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling-place (1. I Cor. 4: 11). And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! (Mark 10:23). Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? (James 2:5). They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service (John 16:2). Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven (Matt. 18:4). Of course it is not meant that a godly Jew did not, at death, go to heaven. Because they did keep the Feast days and Holy days the sabbath day, and the animals were placed on the altar for them but today we are given Jesus as the only way and those new people of God. The distinction is that the incentive to godliness in his case was earthly blessings, forgiveness through the keeping of the Laws, and heaven at the end for the Soul. It should be needless to say that, in this dispensation, neither Jew nor Gentile can be saved otherwise than by the exercise of that faith on the Lord Jesus Christ whereby both are born again (John 3:3, 16) and are baptized into that "one body" (1 Cor 12:13) which is "the church" (Eph. 1:22-23). In the church the distinction of Jew and Gentile disappears. (I Cor. 12:13; Gal. 3:28; Eph. 2:14. So in writing to the Ephesians the apostle speaks of them as "in time past Gentiles, " Eph. 2:11; 1 Cor. 12:2, also says, "ye were Gentiles. ") This makes what we read in Ezek. 18:1-22 become the truth for any person who has sins and wants to use the free will that God gave us under the All christian allNew Covenant where each one of us has to repent of what we do. So what kind of people live as Jesus of the bible tells them? Jesus has already told us what God the father requires of us, and He has done this in the scriptures : Mankind is to be born again; or he cannot see the kingdom of God. " John 3:3. Be born again? It is strange today just as it was when Jesus said this. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you (Matt. 5:44). The saved person is He who is to love those who will not love us back. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: being defamed, we entreat (I Cor. 4:12-13). But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also (Matt. 5:39). See also: Deuteronomy 21:18-21 and Luke 15:20-23. In the appointments for worship we still find contrast. Israel could worship in but one place and at a distance from God-only approaching Him through a priest. The all Christian all New Covenant church worships wherever two or three are gathered, has boldness to enter into the holiest, and is composed of priests. Compare Leviticus 17:8- 9 with Matthew 18:20, Luke 1:10 with Hebrews 10:19-20, Numbers 3:10 with I Peter 2:5. In the predictions concerning the future of Israel and the New Covenant church people, the distinction is still more startling. The New Covenant church who are saved through Jesus as Christ will be taken away from the earth entirely at death but return with Him when He comes for the Saints at the end it is a Rapture of the saved. Rapture Ready? Anyone can read this in our day and then walk away from the clergy that is not what God tells us to be. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. This is when we become Rapture ready and that can be the day we see death before He returns for the rest of His people. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also" (John 14:2, 3). "For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive, and remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (1 Thess. 4:15-17). We do teach and preach that you will need your body at the end as what God has made, He will save body and soul. "For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. " (Phil. 3:20, 21). "Beloved, now are we the sons of God; and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is" (1 John 3:2). "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb" (Rev. 19:7-9). "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years" (Rev. 20:6). The Savior came to make us more than what we were, more than what we had done, more than what others have done to us. The birth of which Christ is speaking comes from above - by the agency of the Holy Spirit. We as humans John 3;16, and then the Holy Spirit takes that person to Romans 10:9-13 where it all begins. Every human must have three births, one from their mother on earth as a baby, the next one from heaven, and the next to Heaven - one of his body, the other of his soul; without the first he cannot see nor enjoy this world, without the second he cannot see nor enjoy the kingdom of God. The new birth which is here spoken of includes, not only what is termed justification or pardon, that forgiveness, but also sanctification or holiness. Sin must be pardoned, and the impurity of the heart washed away, before any soul can possibly enter into the kingdom of God. As this new birth implies the renewing of the whole soul in righteousness and true holiness, it is not a matter which may be considered optional; heaven is a place of holiness, and nothing but what is like itself can ever enter into it. " Nicodemus said unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? " John 3:4. Nicodemus is struggling to assimilate this new idea of a second birth into his observations of life. "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. " John 3:5-7. The answer to Nicodemus' question. Even if it were possible to repeat physical birth the result would be the same. The plant will be of the nature of the seed which begets it - like will beget like. The kingdom of God is spiritual and holy; that which is born of the Spirit resembles the Spirit; for as he is who begat, so is he who is begotten of him. Therefore spiritual regeneration is a necessity to prepare the soul for a holy and spiritual kingdom. Well then, how does one go about being born again? 1. Believe. Do you believe what we have been reading about Jesus Christ? Jesus later told Nicodemus, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. " John 3:16. True belief results in action. Is is to be to the Jesus of the scriptures that we Go to not to men and the clergy for the salvation that is from God to us all. 2. Invite. The Holy Spirit of God stands eagerly awaiting the opportunity to renew your heart and soul should he receive the invitation. Here is where He will take you when you John 3:16- He will take you to what Paul tells in Romans 10:9-13 so that this can be done for you, this is how we can live Holy Psalm 17:1-15 is as My wife always says Deep water Faith when we are in the Shallow End. Psalm 107: 9- Isa. 58:11 is what she is talking about. In Revelation 3:20 Jesus has been sending messages to a number of churches and closes with the statement, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock, if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. " If you have not already done so, we urge you to choose to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and commit yourself to him. Do not let men get between you and your Lord. Remember, God knows your thoughts so you can communicate with him as if face to face. Admit your sinfulness and ask forgiveness. He will do so! Ask the Holy Spirit to cause you to be born again. This will be what He ask of you- Luke 13:2-3-Acts 3:19-Acts 17:30 so this is now you thinking as He calls for and understanding what He gives mercy to Prov. 28:13-24- Jer. 3:13-24- 1 John 1:9-10. He will do as He has told us He will because He is not a false God Numbers 23:19 so as He says He will record your name in the Lamb's book of life, your spiritual birth certificate. Ask for strength as you take the step of yielding your life and future to his direction. He will guide and empower you. As the scripture says He will Zech. 4:6- Acts 1:8-Acts 6:8 3. The things of God do come true. He will be a great help as you start your new life. Soon you will not be able to resist telling everyone you know of the wonderful event in your life. 1 John 4:13-15 His mercy is this to you and to anyone who will John 3:16 no matter what they have done in sin. This Jesus came for us all. Luke 2:1-22- but unlike what men tell you God has His creed of Doctrine and it does take men out of the salvation of the human race. God will tell us and has told us what His creed will do for us in that it will keep us clean Greed Eccl. 5:10- matt. 27:5-1 Timothy 6:9 so what does God say about His creed of Doctrine? ---2 Timothy 3:16- 2 Timothy 4:2-3-Tit. 1:9- Tit. 2:1- 1 Timothy 4;13- Pro. 4:2-Isa. 28:9-13. Here is the way He makes us more than what we would be without the true savior we read of in the scripture! Human to human relationships gets a change: We get forgiveness. We see that we have sins as well as all who are human. What is a sinner as God calls them? Rom. 3:23- Gal. 3:22. -Ecc. 7:20-Rom. 5;8-Matt. 9:13-Luke 18:13-1 Tim. 1:15. Sin is this 1 John 3:4- Rom. 6:12-18-Gen. 4:7-Eph. 4:26- James 4:17. We get to understand and live His way so He does tell us what these things will do to us and what it is, and what we have done and will do to anyone as humans if we do not have Him as the savior. That new Birth has us doing what God calls His doctrines of Creed. Let us go to the Book of Matthew for just a clear understanding of what the Doctrines of God’s creed will do for the saved people. Adultery, we do then see as to a thing God hates and that it is a human sin that is a sin that we do ourselves. Matthew 5:27-32, Matthew 19:8-9, Matthew 19:18 Adversaries we all do have, and they are the self that brings them along with, and who we get information from, and those evil ways that are in this world are very real, and do bring us a downfall. We will have to stop men from telling us where Jesus is and who He is, because if we just John 3:16 it takes us to the true Jesus who is the savior, and it will not stop slick the preacher or remove him out of the way. Matthew 5:24-26 This Jesus who is the savior does tell us that we have a work to do as humans even after we are saved from our past sins. Anger is to be in control; this is one of His creeds. This is to be the new person at work on the self, in the human world. Matthew 5:22 Broad vs. narrow way so God’s way under the all Christian all New Covenant is a walk of Holiness, and it does call for us to live under His doctrines. Matthew 7:13-14 Comfort He will Give to His. Matthew 9:22, Matthew 11:28-30 Confess, deny, daily repentance is a part of that walk because we all are still humans in the flesh. Matthew 10:32-33, Matthew 16:24, Matthew 26:34 The Cross was How God redeemed us all. Matthew 10:38, Matthew 16:24 Divorce for just anything is just another sin in the flesh. So let us look at the book of John so we can understand who this savior is. Men do not get to police the salvation of humans. We see the Doctrines of His creed going on in this book as well! I am the good shepherd John 10:14. The good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep John 10:11. The clergy did not give themselves for you Jesus did. The Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me John 5:39. Whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:14-17. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: John 3:36. And that believing ye might have life through his name. John 20:30-31. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, he will also confess before my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 10:32. Don't get excited, beware of men and their answers that God has nothing to do with. Matthew 24:3-8 False prophets Matthew 24:11 Iniquity shall abound Matthew 24:12 Gospel to be preached among all nations Matthew 24:14 The Church (Christ's believers) removed from earth to be with Christ in Heaven the one thing that stops the lordship clergy from a takeover on earth is that we can read this for ourselves.. John 14:3, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 19:7-10 Great tribulation Matthew 24:21-22 False Christs Matthew 24:5, Matthew 24:23-24 The real Christ to come again, this time all will serve Him. Matthew 24:29-30, Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11-16 You must look at all four Gospels in order to get the complete order of events and all the details of what has been done and what will come to the earth. When we read the Bible for ourselves we can go in mind to the time as if we are there with them. The Choice of Heaven as the police over the salvation of mankind? The person that God tells us to go to to be saved as He says in John 3;16? Let's go in mind as if we were there in Bethlehem and hear God's announcement of "Peace on earth. " I love to read the story of the shepherds abiding in the field 2, 000 years ago. When the angel appeared, the shepherds, "Were sore afraid" I guess that's only natural. Many other people in the Bible were afraid when they saw angels. It may be natural, but it's not necessary to be in fear. When they listened and heard God's good tidings, their fear was changed into peace. The shepherds enjoyed the heavenly choir, and then they applied God's word to their hearts by going to Bethlehem and seeing Jesus. Look at their joy when they returned. What a difference it made to have Jesus in their lives! God gave peace to the shepherds. When I read these verses in Luke 2 and think about the shepherds abiding in the fields, a beautiful scene comes into my mind. We also can look back a few years as we read this, the Lord has added something wonderful to the picture. We must turn the clock back 700 years and stop during the days of the prophet Micah. Being good to the word of God on the visit of the wise men, we are already blessed with the joyful news that the prophet Micah tells us that Christ would be born in Bethlehem. (Read Micah 5:2). Then the Spirit urged us to go back a few verses and read where Micah talks about a tower. (Read Micah 4:8). This "Tower of the flock" reminds us that the shepherds in Luke 2 would also have a tower. Although this tower is not mentioned in the Gospel of Luke, it is a beautiful part of Bethlehem's countryside. It's called, "The Tower of Edar. " This tower is where the shepherds would sit and keep watch over the flock. They would be ever on the alert for hungry animals, like lions and wolves. We also today have to do this in the Lordship of Men who want to rule over God’s John 3:16 people who are in God we Trust people. They would also observe the sheep to see if there were any wanderers. For the sake of clarity, we should take note that these verses in Micah are referring to the LORD'S coming kingdom. This leads us to observe something wonderful. Both the first Coming of Christ and the Coming of His kingdom are related to a location with a tower of the flock. This is no surprise, of course, because, "The Lord is my shepherd. " (Read Psalm 23). I'd like to go back a few verses and notice another similarity. (Read Micah 4:3). "Beat their swords into plowshares" reminds me that one day this babe of Bethlehem was the great king who will bring a true and lasting peace on earth. Even though our cities today are filled with weapons of war, He gives us hope. God will give peace to the soldiers. Then we can turn back the Bethlehem clock again. This time let's go another thousand years and stop during the days of Jacob. (Read Genesis 35:16-22). Jacob's beloved wife Rachel is great with child! After Benjamin is safely born, Rachel dies. As I was reading God's Word, I thought of how often we celebrate someone's joy, while sharing the grief of someone else. (Read Ecclesiastes 3:1-8). Jacob shows us a believer who chooses hope for the living, and love for the dearly departed. Then a short time later, Jacob's family came to "the tower of Edar. " We read that one of Jacob's sons doesn't have respect for his father's grief. The memory of the "tower of Edar" is stained by the sin of Reuben. How can we talk about such things at Christmas? It reminds us of the truth, that the babe of Bethlehem came into the world to save sinners. (Read 1 Timothy 1:15). There is no peace unless you have peace with Him. God gives peace to sinners who trust in Jesus. (Read Romans 5:1-2 John 3:16). During Jesus' time Rome was the current oppressor of the Jews and the Jews were yearning for Messiah; hoping for a military/political deliverer. Even John, the Baptist, who had correctly pointed out Christ as, ".. . The lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world" (John 1:29), required reassurance when he found himself in prison with nothing much happening on the political front. (Matthew 11:2-6). The Old Testament prophecies pointed to Jesus. Those who reject Jesus and are still waiting for Messiah are awaiting another who can fulfil the same prophecies. To accept less in their Messiah would require changing their interpretation of (or confidence in) the Old Covenant as the way. Jesus claimed to be the Messiah, the Son of God. As is often pointed out, Jesus is either who he says he is or else he is a liar. And we know who is the father of lies. (John 8:44). We acknowledge the truthfulness of Jesus! Luke 4:17-21, John 5:17-18, John 10:24-30, John 10:36-38, Luke 22:66-71, Matthew 26:63-64. Demons acknowledged that he was the son of God. And they certainly had no reason to advance his claim. Matthew 8:28-29, Mark 3:11, Luke 4:41 Satan attempted to neutralize Jesus by offering temptation. If Jesus was not the Christ why would Satan be concerned? Luke 4:1-13, Matthew 4:8-11 God the Holy Spirit and God the Father certified Jesus as the Son of God. Mark 1:9-11, Matthew 17:1-5 Highlights of Messiah's activity on earth as we teach it and you can read about it. Anyone can understand this and can teach this to their children. The first advent: On this trip Messiah had a greater goal than merely relieving Israel of yet another local oppressor. Christ was here to purchase redemption from sin for all of mankind, Jews and Gentiles alike. Birth: "In thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed. " Genesis 12:3. "Thou shalt call his name JESUS, for he shall save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21. "Unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. " Luke 2:11. Teaching: ".. . The Son of man came... to give his life a ransom for many. " Mark 10:45. ".. . and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day. " Mark 9:31. "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life" John 3:36. Death: "And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him;" Luke 22:2. "And they crucified him. " Matthew 27:35. "In a new sepulcher.. . they laid Jesus, " John 19:38-42. Resurrection: "He is not here, but has risen:" Luke 24:6-7. ".. . He rose again the third day" 1 Corinthians 15:1-8. Ascension: "He was received up into Heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. " Mark 16:19. Currently: Christ sits at the right hand of the Father making intercession for his believers. In Heaven: "His Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things" Hebrews 1:1-3. " set him in his own right hand in the heavenly places, " Ephesians 1:19-23. Making intercession: "Christ, maketh intercession for us. ". Romans 8:34. "He ever liveth to make intercession for them. ". Hebrews 7:25 The rapture: Christ will return in the air and call home his church who are people He saved through His blood, those who believe in him. This is not "The Second coming" of Christ for he will not set foot on earth. He will simply remove his believers from earth to Heaven. Note: "Believers" are not limited to any specific race, God has only one Human race, all of us coming from Adam and one woman Eve. because this Jesus is He that person of Gen 1:1- John 1 1-4 Because He has no such thing as us and them or a religion. The differentiation is their relationship with Christ Jesus and if that person is saved through this Jesus they are already His.. Beware of men end timing you with things that are not what God says will happen first, Corvid-19 is not one of the last seven plagues to come; the Rapture has not happened because did you see Jesus coming in the air as God tells us we all will? "I will come again, and receive you unto myself. " John 14:1-6. "And so shall we ever be with the Lord. " 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17. Tribulation: Much will happen during the few years between the rapture of the church (Christ's bride, his believers) and Christ's second coming. The people remaining on earth after the rapture will all be non-believers, including a large number of Jews. During this period the population of earth will experience terrible retribution for their rejection of God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Rather than repent and turn to God the world will embrace a false Messiah. Big mistake. A few will come to understand and will turn to Christ but will pay for their newfound belief with their lives. "And the rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues yet repented not.. . " Revelation 9:20-21. "I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God,... " Revelation 20:4. Second coming: After the tribulation period is complete God will keep his promise to Israel and will send his Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to rule as King upon the throne of David. His first action will be to defeat the armies of the world (battle of Armageddon) and bring them into submission to himself. The Revelation: To see Christ Jesus coming in the air will be the biggest shock of all time as people realize their mistake in rejecting him on his first trip to earth. "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kinds of the earth shall wail because of him. ". Revelation 1:7. "And I saw Heaven open". Revelation 19:11-16. The unbelieving world attempts to repel Christ: ", The beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him, " Revelation 19:19-21. Christ reigns upon the throne of David for a thousand years: "And an angel, laid hold on the dragon, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled;". Revelation 20:1-3. "I have set my king upon my holy hill of Zion, " Psalm 2:1-12. "And I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, And they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. " Revelation 20:4. One last attempt to rebel against Christ: "Satan, shall go out to deceive the nations, " Revelation 20:7-10. Final judgement (by God) of those who rejected Christ, the Son of God: "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. ". Revelation 20:11-15. This site should be taken down if it is going to allow lies and gossip about people. If everyone worried about their own lives then there wouldn’t be no trouble in this world. Instead of worrying about what everyone else is doing, people need to worry about their souls and get Jesus in their lives. People are so petty and bitter.

Stupid people should get their story straight before they post lies for the public to see.. . Know your facts before you spread your rumors!!!! Gardner does a thorough background check and very strict on renters! There is nothing worse than gossiping, lying Neighbors who do nothing but try to cause trouble. We don't like your kind in our neighborhood, so you need to put your mask on to cover your face and hide behind it and mind your own business!! Thank you for the laughs!!!

It's so easy for someone to post things that aren't true that love to hide their name. You're so lucky that I don't know who you are because I would get you for slander and make you prove your lies.... and to let you know I've lived in this neighborhood for almost 8 years and I don't recall me having any problems with anyone until you came along so if you don't like me living in your neighborhood you find a new neighborhood. And you better hope that I don't find out who you are because I will have you in court because my lawyer will handle it. So you best be taking down your post.... because as you know everything comes out in the wash.... . Kristda.... . . and that is the correct way to spell it....

Coronavirus : News! www. Old church of God of the New Covenant com : Old Church Of God of The New Covenant:: We have always been 1 Cor 1:2 Heb. 8:1-13. Trouble has come, the coronavirus is not overlooking anyone! From the Elder: please call or go on line for a pray request, Call for prayers any time (-1- 606-674-2480) There are troubled days upon this earth , The outbreak of a killer is now in our midst. God is a personal God, desiring reconciliation with His greatest creation (Revelation 3:20) Christ is divine (John 1:1, 14) The Bible is the Inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21) Salvation from sin (Mathew 1:21) is for all and to all, with no church or Priest, Pastor needed to receive it, Jesus alone is Savior John 3:15-17 is for any and all Humans. A new birth (John 3:3, 5-7) can be for any as well. Living a holy life (Luke 1:73-75; Titus 2:11) Is the will of God for all humans. Purity and blamelessness by sanctification (1 Thessalonians 5:23) The unity of God's people (John 17:21; Ephesians 4) all of it In Jesus only. Divine healing (James 5:14-16) Decide to Obey No Matter What the Cost or How Difficult the Journey - Forsake the Things of the World (John 14:15) - Believe in His Goodness and Obey Him Even When There is No Evidence of It - He who loses his life for Jesus’ sake will find it (Matthew 10:39) 2. Immerse Yourself in the Word - Follow the lead of Jesus and believe every word He says (John 5:30, 10:30; 15:10; 17). 3. Spend Copious Time seeking God - Hebrews 7:19 - Be Brutally Honest with God Here I am Lord this is me in need. - Ask the Hard Questions, like are you under a Biblical Elder. God has Rules for the Clergy. And those Rules do not apply to those who are not the Clergy. Ephesians 6:18 - Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Matthew 21:22 - And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Do you understand James 5:13-20. Pray without ceasing Phil 4:6 Romans 12:12 - Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - Rejoice evermore. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray without ceasing. Matthew 6:6 - But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Colossians 4:2 - Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Romans 8:26 - Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Matthew 6:9-13 - After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Jeremiah 33:3 - Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Matthew 7:7 - Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: If the Clergy will not do as Jesus says why should you hear them. We all should ask? Is the Pastor who will preach over my body a one man woman man just as God calls for in His rules for the Clergy. Matthew 19:1-12 if the preacher does not obey what Jesus Himself said to the Clergy, because He was talking to them not to someone who is not a member of the Clergy, other people, and a man who once preached as the clergy can be forgiven if they had fifty bad marriages, they still can come to the Lord even the Clergy can if a fall come but when the clergy takes the next wife He cannot be the clergy anymore, and the person who has more that one wife living can’t be the clergy.? - Wait on Him, Keep calling on God and your savior Jesus. - Do Everything He Tells You to Do (Luke 22:42) - Learn to Believe in His Grace, Love and Transforming Power (2 Corinthians 3:18) 4. Immerse Yourself in true Worship of God Pray to God not at Him. - Sing Love Songs to God, Rather Than Songs About God and to God. - Avoid the False god seeking the truth of the all Christian all New Covenant ways of life. “Entertainment, ” of the people of God does come through His people singing and having fun before Him, Where your Flesh is Stimulated just as the mind and soul. Let the Joy come out, so your children can see the Lord in you. 5. Find and Dive Into the Life of a Church, remember that the church is in you who are saved and where two or three are there He -Jesus is, we can have church with each other in the home where we are Mattthew 18:20-- The saved are those who that Believes the Word and Operates in the Spirit (Ephesians 5:15-21) where they are is where Jesus is God says where the Lord is, not a man. You are Where Jesus is the savior, John 3:15-17 this is who you went to for salvation. - Regularly Attend Home Fellowship, or have church with each other at this time, and Support the Groups of your family even those you may have had trouble with. They will need you now. - Spend Copious Time Receiving Prayer at the Altar that God has said is anywhere. not just at church. If you are new at this, as the bible says a novice or new borned in Christ. - Learn to Imitate Seasoned Believers Who Have Overcome (1 Corinthians 4:15-16; 1 Thessalonians 1:6; Hebrews 6:12, 13:7) 6. Seek Direct Healing from the Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost,. A God will surprise you with badly needed revelation while you are in the midst of seeking Him. If you ask Him for it, He will supernaturally impart vital things, such as: a sense of well-being; a knowledge of being loved, lovable, worthwhile and valuable; a knowledge of the goodness and rightness of His having made you male or female; a certainty that you are wanted and that you have a Father in heaven who adores you, Remember that Love did not just come for you but all humankind. He is God to all. 7. Minister to Others the times do have a test to those who are saved. - Learn How to Serve and to How to Love (1 John 4:10; John 14:15) God has given us an amazing promise - that if we seek Him with all our heart, He will reveal Himself to us (Jeremiah 29:13-14). “For in Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28). Often, someone who is dying will express deep regret that they did not spend more time with their family. As their life comes to an end, they lament over discovering too late that life was to be found in the loving of God and others, and with those they loved – that in fact, all the money, possessions and career successes were worthless in comparison. Don’t let that happen to you! Daily Repent, and fix the troubles in your life and homes. Dear Brothers and Sisters Peace with God and others is an intended purpose of life, both here and in heaven. It may require time and effort but will prove itself in a transformed life and the intense joy of experiencing God’s presence. How can we neglect so great a salvation? (Hebrews 2:3) God Bless you in this time of trouble, God does say the person must call on the Elders we are here for you. Again call anytime.
